For the UFEA EURO 2008™ adidas turned the most significant Vienna landmark, the Prater ferris wheel, into a landmark for all football fans. Peter Čech, the 26 year-old Czech national goalkeeper turns into the IMPOSSIBLE GOALKEEPER. 53 meters tall he this gigantic installation is visible way beyond the Prater entertainment park and the nearby public-viewing sites. Čech has eight arms which constantly turn with the ferris wheel.  

The erection of the metal construction started on May 13 and is finished just before the launch on the night of June 5, 2006. This advertising landmark will also host the official adidas press conference prior to the UEFA EURO 2008™.

In 2006, adidas dominated the FIFA World Cup™ press coverage with one impressive OOH installation. A 65 meter wide Oliver Kahn bridge spanned the Autobahn, the first ever poster on a German Autobahn.
